This Privacy Policy describes how Licknova (“Licknova”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or purchase from licknova.com or otherwise communicate with us (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

What we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on your interactions with us:

Order & account data: items purchased, payment confirmations (from our processor), delivery details, returns/RMA history, support messages.

Uploads you provide: images/text you send for photo retouching, custom apparel, or digital products (only what’s necessary to fulfil your request). Please avoid sending sensitive data (e.g., health, biometric, or special-category content) unless we’ve asked for it and you consent.

How we share information
We share personal data with trusted service providers acting under contract (processors), such as: e-commerce platform, payment processors, shipping/fulfilment, customer support tools, cloud hosting/storage (e.g., for file uploads used in retouching), security/anti-fraud, analytics/marketing (where consented). We may also share with affiliates, professional advisors, or if required by law, and in connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition). Some providers may process data outside your country (e.g., EU/EEA → US/other). How long we keep data (retention)
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including legal/accounting requirements. Typical periods:

Orders & accounting records: up to 6 years (tax/audit requirements may vary).

Support messages & RMA documents: generally up to 3 years after resolution.

Customer-uploaded files for digital products/retouching/custom apparel: normally up to 30 days after final delivery, then deleted from active systems; backups may persist for a limited period. You can request earlier deletion.

Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure; if you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission). Children’s data

User-generated content
Reviews or other content you post publicly may be visible to anyone. Do not share information you prefer to keep private.
Third-party sites
Our site may link to third-party websites/apps. Their privacy and security practices are their own; review their policies before using those services.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. If that changes, we’ll tell you and explain your rights.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When we do, we’ll post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date. Significant changes may be notified by email or on-site, as required by law.
